Half/Whole Day Retreats

Sound Familiar to you? Have a parade of faces that run through your mind at night? Feel shut down? Not present with friends or family? It doesn't have to be this way Have you considered an EMDR Outdoor based retreat? An intensive retreat offers relief and healing in days, not years as required by one-hour weekly in-person or online therapy sessions. A single retreat day (or half day) adds up to (8) 45-50 min sessions. In other words, 1 retreat day is equivalent to 1- 2 months of weekly therapy, but the effects are substantially more powerful because of the continuity of the work. You have your therapist’s attention all day, every day of the retreat, with a lunch break and other breaks as necessary. There is no wasted time saying hello, catching up or shutting down a session – it is ongoing. Options are available for half day (4 hour) or whole day (8 hour) retreats, at a low cost for first responders. We are allowed to bill most insurances for the first hour, and are able to offer the remainder of the retreat at a low cost through our non-profit. The retreats are outdoor and equine based, not in an office setting. Financial aid is also available through our non-profit and other partnerships. EMDR is one of the most effective treatments for returning us to baseline after the vault gets full. It can help with distress after a bad run, the end of a relationship, anxiety, panic, and chronic pain. My job is to have your back, so you can get back to yourself. Equine Assisted EMDR Like you, horses get what it's like to have to be on guard, aware of changes in their surroundings. They teach us how we are showing up. In EA-EMDR horses have your six while you're doing the work of healing. No riding necessary. Half Day= $300 Whole Day= $500 2-3 Day retreats available by request
